To those who know me (I hope you're still around), I am Well and must also state that This beautiful piece says quite a bit so "Let's Go Round Again"! Some of you may remember this fantastic Scottish Funk & Soul ensemble known as ... ... The Average White Band or "AWB". Famous for sounds like: - Pick Up the Pieces on Cut The Cake LP (1974) - A Love Of Your Own (1976) ... ... and many others. They got their first big break in 1973, when they were invited to play at the Eric Clapton’s comeback event. After receiving rave reviews the band was immediately offered a record deal. They were one of the few blue-eyed soul groups to be embraced by the R&B community. It is Forty-years + since these pioneers established themselves as they continue to perform. I've always appreciated their ever present beat, rhythm and horns which exudes much inspiration to the artist in me. This is my take on this party piece.
