And all the kids at school They were wishing they were me that night. School Figures Compulsory figures or school figures were formerly an aspect of the sport of figure skating, from which the sport derives its name. Carving specific patterns or patterns was the original focus of the sport. They were initially skated outdoors on natural ice surfaces. And we're glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife Edge Jump The six most common jumps in competitive figure skating can be divided into two categories: toe jumps — the toe loop, the flip, and the Lutz — and edge jumps — the Salchow, loop, and the Axel. So open up your eyes, I got a big surprise It'll feel all right Well, I wanna make your motor run Open Stroke In ice dancing, open stroke is a step that is started close to the skating foot that doesn't cross in front or behind. So open up your eyes, I got a big surprise It'll feel all right Well, I wanna make your motor run Warm-upGroup A warm-up group is a grouping of skaters at a competition who warm up together immediately prior to competing. It was long ago and it was far away, And it was so much better than it is today. Long Lift Dance lifts are differentiated by the skating involved.Long lifts are one of seven different types of lifts. Long lifts may last up to ten seconds in competition on the senior level. Reverse rotational lift -The lifting partner rotates in one direction, then switches and rotates in the other direction, while traveling across the ice. Serpentine lift The lifting partner moves in a serpentine pattern across the ice. Combination lift A lift combining two of the four short lifts. Each part of the lift must be fully established. In both pairs and dance, lifts that go on longer than allowed receive deductions "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is one of the longest songs to be released uncut on one side of a 45 RPM record. The only difference is the song fades out almost immediately after the final line is sung. In some countries, a shorter 5:32 edit was released. The largest change is the complete removal of the "baseball play-by-play" section. According to Meat Loaf on VH1 Storytellers, the original length of the track was to be 27 minutes. This song was such a huge hit when it came out. I remember my girlfriend and I would play this over and over and over and over while talking, drinking Kahlua shakes, and just being us. This song, and the entire album, will be embedded in my memory always. There's a man in the shadows With a gun in his eye Oh baby, you're the only thing In this whole world That's pure and good and right But I gotta get outI gotta break it out now When it's over you know We'll both be so alone I'll be gone when the morning comes Oh, when the night is over Then like a sinner Before the gates of Heaven I'll come crawlin' on back to you And nothing really rocks And nothing really rolls You know I wanna be damned Dancing through the night with you. Dancing through the night Dancing through the night Dancing through the night with you Before the gates of Heaven I'll come crawling on back to you Then like a sinner Before the gates of Heaven I'll come crawling on back to you I can see myself tearin' up the road And I never see the sudden curve Till it's way too late Torn and twisted At the foot of a burnin' bike And flyin' away Like a bat out of Hell At the foot of a burnin' bike. It is one of the best-selling albums in the history of recorded music, having sold over 43 million copies worldwide. Rolling Stone magazine ranked it at number 343 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time in 2003. The song was inspired by teenage tragedy songs such as "Leader of the Pack" and "Tell Laura I Love Her", the latter being the first single Jim Steinman had ever bought. Steinman wanted to write the "most extreme crash song of all time": "There is something so thrilling to me about that operatic narrative that involves a cataclysmic event, especially one so perfectly intune with a teenager's world, and rock and roll, as a car or motorcycle crash." According to Meat Loaf, the song is "constructed from" a shot near the beginning of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho in which the viewer looks down a valley and sees the lights of a city. He says all the clients in the Bates Motel "wish they would have left like a bat out of hell... It had nothing to do, believe it or not, with Bruce Springsteen. It had to do with Alfred Hitchcock and Psycho."Youtube: Personal thoughts: Well, this song was one of my biggest challenges ever. When searching for a song with as many term associated words as possible I came to think of that superlong song by Meat Loaf. I tried it once a loooong time ago and couldn't get through it. Too fast, too long and even a foreign language for me. I gave up. So, I came up with the idea to that song in our inner circle thread and asked Frank to sing it. I know vocally he would have done it so much better. But... I didn't find another song I really would have liked to sing. So I got my guts together and decided to give it a try. At first I thought about using the harmony function to break it up into chunks. But This somehow didn't work out with the mix. And then after about 3-4 hours of trying.... I came through this whole song!!! I cannot describe how this felt! It was amazing! Hope you enjoyed it! Shae, definitions and pictures are in the comments below.
