I wish you love

If you're listening to this, then it's for you. A taste of Mexico on Cinco de Mayo.

Some wiki on the songwriter: "Álvaro Carrillo Alarcón was a Mexican popular music composer born in San Juan Cacahuatepec, Oaxaca, on 2 December 1921, who died in a car accident on 3 April 1969. He wrote over 300 songs, including Amor mío, Sabor a mí, Como se lleva un lunar, El andariego, Luz de luna, Sabrá Dios, Seguiré mi viaje and La mentira."

This bolero was first recorded by a famous Japanese singer Yoshiro Hiroishi, which made it a worldwide hit. I've always loved El Chicano's version, but Luis Miguel did a very romantic version more recently. Thanks for listening.

Yoshiro Hiroishi, I'll remember that, sorry would have come sooner, but I was busy with some translations, just the right kind of music to set my mind at ease, very impressive indeed, super stars******************* Saab.

Let's settle the Mexican independence by imbibing lots of margaritas and then in July, we can toast the U.S. independence with lots of beer and barbecue!

Hey, nice Spanish! The California thing is working for you. Fantastic singing and really sexy tone. ;-D

Lady Willpower - classic stuff from Gary Puckett & the Union Gap

I sure enjoyed your lovely singing on this song, even though I didn't know what you were saying.
Another proof that music can be beautiful even when one doesn't know the words.

Hi Jewelya
I haven't been around SS lately, but I stopped in today to hear a few friends :0)
I don't understand Spanish, but I love the romance languages... for obvious reasons. You did a beautiful job on this cool tune; and your Spanish sounds very authentic.
Hugs, Dave

Sounds a bit familiar. I like that kind of percussion in a song. This I could dance to suave!

My Spanish retention is terrible these days so I can't follow along. I do try to speak a little more these days. Here in Tampa, big communities of Puerto Rican, Cuban and Mexican immigrants exist. I wish I more committed to getting better with the language.
Lovely version. I need a white Panama hat to pull this one off .
