Welcome to round 1 of The Game!!!
We are so glad to see so many of you had the guts to enter this exciting contest! We can’t wait to hear you sing and see how you play YOUR version of The Game.
Notice we have put you all in groups. You will be in a different group every round. You will be voting within your own group this round. The contestants with the two lowest scores in their group will compete against each other in The Singoff, round 1. Once all entries are in, instructions for voting will be given. Do NOT vote yet.
Your mission for round 1
Here is your mission for round 1 of The Game.
Keeping the rules in mind, record a song with the word GAME in the TITLE and enter it here before Monday, May 14th @ 3 PM SingSnap time.
What’s the catch?
Beforehand we have randomly picked 3 songs from the SingSnap library with the word GAME in the title. If you happen so sing one of these songs, here are the consequences:
Song 1 will keep you out of The Singoff, round 1, no matter how your low score is.
Song 2 will get you into The Singoff, round 1, no matter how high your score is.
Song 3 will get you removed from the contest. In other words, if you pick this song, you are out of The Game.
After the deadline we will reveal which songs we picked. We have recorded a message, time stamped before the start of round 1, telling you which 3 songs we picked. Our recording is on private, but we will put it on public after round 1 ends.
