Eva and I were so happy when Jake and Jan agreed to do a song with us as a quartet. They are so talented and we loved singing with them. This is an old traditional song...but this is a new version with new verses along with the traditional chorus. Take time to really listen to the message presented in an entirely new way with these lyrics. I hope this "new group" can get together in the future and do another one of these. Thank you RoyandSan for posting this version on the Community Songbook.

Jan's solo
Jake's solo
Eva's solo
Charlie's solo
All together on final solo
All in harmony on Chorus

***************************************************
There are loved
Ones in the glory
Whose dear forms You often miss;
When you close
Your earthly story
Will you join them
In their bliss?

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, Lord
By and by?
Is a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord
In the sky?

In the joyous
Days of childhood
Oft they told of wondrous love
Pointed to the dying Saviour;
Now they dwell
with Him above.

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, Lord
By and by?
Is a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord
In the sky?

You remember songs of heaven
Which you sang with
Childish voice
Do you love the hymns
They taught you
Or are songs of
Earth your choice?

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, Lord
By and by?
Is a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord
In the sky?

You can picture
Happy gath'rings
'Round the fireside long ago
And you think of
Tearful partings
When they left you here below.

Will the circle be unbroken
By and by, Lord
By and by?
Is a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord
In the sky?

One by one their
Seats were emptied
And one by one
They went away;
Now the family that is parted
Will it be complete one day?

And, will the circle be unbroken
By and by, Lord
By and by?
Is a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord
In the sky?
