My entry for The Battle: Top 24.
When looking at the list of artists for this round, and comparing the song choices against the slower ballad duet I did for the last round, I chose to go with this upbeat song by Reba...not only does it require spunk, growling and attitude to pull off (just like my job!!), I've always loved the rags to riches, "screw what everyone thinks" confidence that Fancy has. I've loved this song since I was a kid, and I know that returning to my country roots would make my mama proud :). Win or lose, I'm happy that this entry allows me to stay true to myself, just like Fancy!
