Nessun Dorma is from the opera "Turandot" by Giacomo Puccini and it is one of the best-known operatic arias; for example it was sung by Paul Potts on the television show "Britian's Got Talent" and most famously by Luciano Pavarotti.
In a nutshell, Calaf (the unknown prince) falls in love at first sight with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. To marry the princess he must first answer her three riddles. If he fails, he will be beheaded (ouch!)
