I Saw The Light by JCD

This is Spanky's (Paul's) and my entry for "Round 3 of Duet for Dollars."

Paul and I were discussing what inspirational photo we wished to use and decided on Photo #2.

Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.

Sometimes in life, things appear to be dark and scary and you find yourself in a cautious frame of mind, especially when it comes to love. The greatest light of all is TRUE LOVE.

When we first experience a strong attraction to another person, often our reaction is to exercise extreme caution, put up our defences, and pull away from those feelings. We try to avoid the relationship, denying our feelings, for they cannot be 'real' because we have never experienced anything quite like this before. As time goes on, we find ourselves fearful and fighting the attraction to that 'special someone' more and more. Our emotions seem to be in turmoil. However, soon we begin to see that no matter how hard we try, we cannot outrun or hide from this thing called 'LOVE'. Soon, that persistent tugging in our hearts begins to win and a light turns on! We realize that we cherish this feeling more than anything in life. We embrace the love and no longer live in that dark place.

When the spark of love grows into a flame, you can not only feel the love in your heart, but you can see it in each others eyes!

What an honour it is to be party of this contest and in the company of such AMAZING duet couples. Talk about professional recordings! Can't get much better than what we have heard.
