My Aunt passed away recently... they'll lay her to rest tomorrow... and I'm thousands of miles away. Military separates more than families.

Dealing with a deployment, scare of my mother's baby sister's health (ruptured appendix), my great Aunt and Uncle's family home (years of family gatherings and holidays there) burned to the ground while they were out for a couple of hours, and then my step mother's baby sister is unexpectedly taken from us peacefully in her sleep. God has a plan for us. He's protecting my husband and I pray he continues to do so. Bring on the rain.
