Jim: This is the one by RIO that I thought was the closest to Elvis' version! You sang it reverently with a lot of genuine emotion behind it! Why do I feel like coming to your church and contributing to the collection plate? This song always gave me a warm feeling and made me smile. Joe

Yes, RIO is dazzling in his ability to evoke the authentic nature of Elvis' SPIRIT. Doug Church did it once for me in his version of, 'Ill Remember You". Those moments are pure magic. Of course much of Gospel's formula is cliche as in all other genres...but such ART it can be. I credit Elvis and yes, even Jimmy Lee Swaggert for showing me what that art can REALLY do. At the expense of sounding like an 'Elvis Imitator' (GOD, I hate that phrase as much as Jimmy Ellis did!!)... but I think good Gospel is my very favorite music of all!! I believe YOU nailed it when you said that it gives one a warm feeling and really makes you smile! PERFECT!!
