Mystery Man Many of you know that Di had a devastating stroke back in 2009. She had another minor stroke last month ...one of the several reasons we've not been on the site for quite some time. This is her first sing since recovering, to some degree, from that stroke. And, she did it in just one take! It's a Pop Rock song from the mid 90's era. As you listen, think, perhaps, of Sade. It's the type of song she might have sung. Immediately below this line is a link to the song. It's a little loud ... just so you know. When on the song page, click on "Play Hi Fi" or "Play Lo Fi", depending if you have broadband or dial-up Internet connection. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=276329&songID=12977676 Mystery Man (c) 2014 Alan D. David, BMI / Diana Randall, BMI (v1) Dark eyes with a hypnotic glow Erotic smile that brings me alive Shows up at the club each night Stays above all the talk and jive Soft spoken, never says too much Gentle strength in Armani threads He walks my way passing by the rest The other girls all turn their heads CHORUS A mystery man coming into my space Got no past that no one can trace Takes my breath when he takes my hand I'm captivated by a mystery man A mystery man (v2) Magic feet on the hardwood floor Body swaying to the melody The ladies hoping for that special dance He just smiles says it's saved for me I feel his breath as it warms my cheek Holds me close setting off alarms I'm wishing that the song won't end It's like magic when I'm in his arms REPEAT CHORUS Instrumental Verse (v3) A fantasy from a midnight dream Everything that a man should be But he's elusive like a butterfly I'll never have him cuz he's got to be free Like a whisper in a summer breeze He disappears right before my eyes But he'll be back on another night And once again I'll be hypnotized REPEAT CHORUS
I ran across this open duet just per chance. So glad did! I'd never heard Katrice sing before. What a lovely young lady with a fabulous voice. Thank you, Katrice, for letting me sing with you. It was real pleasure! Hope you like what I did to your original recording!!!! Alan

"Come To Me Softly" An original song I wrote today for my lovely wife, Di. We've not been around much lately due to an extremely busy schedule and a very serious illness of a family member. We've been gone more than we've been home the past several months. Will drop in and listen when we get a chance plus post a song here and there. Thanks for the listen ... much appreciated. Click on the link below to hear the song. CLICK HERE ! ---> http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12809179 The song should play automatically. If it doesn't, near Di's pic in the upper right corner, click on "Play Hi-Fi" if you have broadband internet or "Play Lo-Fi" if you have dial-up internet. Come To Me Softly (c) 2014 Alan D. David, BMI (v1) Come to me softly, let me feel you near I'll say the things I know you love to hear How much I need you, and you're my guiding light Come to me softly tonight (v2) Come to me softly, let me kiss your lips And feel the tingle, within your fingertips You are the alter that makes my world so right Come to me softly tonight REFRAIN You are the power that lifts me when I'm down Without you I'm frail and weak Before your love I was lost but now I'm found Yes I am strong I'm no longer meek (v3) Come to me softly, let me feel your love Your smile is softer than the cooing of the dove When I'm confused you give me wisdom's sight Come to me softly tonight REFRAIN You are the power that lifts me when I'm down Without you I'm frail and weak Before your love I was lost but now I'm found Yes I am strong I'm no longer meek (v3) Come to me softly, let me feel your love Your smile is softer than the cooing of the dove When I'm confused you give me wisdom's sight Come to me softly tonight Come to me softly to night
