I am dedicating this song to one of my best friends Krista and her new Fiance Chris. Krista has been like a little sister to me for many many years and I hope that her and Chris have many great years to come. This song reminds me very much of the two of them. Congratulations on your engagement I can not wait for September for the wedding! Love you both!

I tried to get this picture bigger but it will have to do. This beautiful young lady passed away on Monday morning at the age of 17 yrs old. She had battled a very great sadness in her fora long time, before she eventually came to the point to decide to take her own life. I know that teen suicide happens, it shouldn't but it does....however...in my small town this is the 6th teenager in the last two years to make this choice. All of the teens were from the same age range, all of them my sons friends, kids who have grown up in and out of my house on a regular basis. this beautiful young lady was on my couch not two weeks ago eating the left over Halloween candy and hiding it from the boys. I am only one person , but i believe that awareness to teen suicide needs to be brought out to the open a bit more, and it starts here with me sending this message to all of you who choose to read this, and to listen to this song. Hug your children, TALK with your children.....get involved with your children and with their friends....you never know who's life you may save by having one little conversation, or doing one small act to show you care. Sometimes as parents our children do not want to listen to us but they sometimes will listen to another parent, getting involved with your children's friends is JUST as important as being involved with your own children. On Saturday we will lay this beautiful young girl to rest, and I will help my son and his friends to say goodbye to the 6th friend they have lost to this. Rest in Peace Emily Catherine Taylor.
