ALL OF ME Singsnap in a Song Challenge All of me, Singsnap, why not take all of me. You see, on july 26, 2007, my sister, Phyllis (FuffyPhil), introduced me to this great site. Within a few days from then, I ended up in the hospital with a high fever, complaining of freezing to death. There were x-rays taken, and I was put on pain medication for severe back pain. Two days later, I was sent home. But, in early August, I went in the hospital again, only this time, I was there for 18 days, with pneumonia and colitis. I almost didn't make it. But, the day I got home from the hospital, I started singing on Singsnap. My roommate, Bruce, was amazed. He really didn't think I could sing so soon after such a terrible illness. But, God, and Singsnap, helped me get better. I only weighed 120 pounds by the time I stopped losing weight. I really believe that singing on this site was paramount in my recovery. I still sing, just not as often. But, I always sing on Singsnap. I have met some wonderful people through this site. One of my favorite people is my dear friend, Camye (Heart_songs08), from Thibodaux, Louisiana. What a blessing she is to me. Thank you, Singsnap, for introducing us. So, why not, Singsnap, take ALLLLLL of me.

Beautiful Star Of Bethlehem What do I have to be thankful for? HMMMMM........My life. God gave me life, many times over. First, He created me in my mother's womb. Then, He healed me from second degree water burns on my legs when I was but 19 months old, and several months later, when I got into some medicine that retarded me some. I'm still waiting to get back to normal. LOL. Then, when I was around 17 years of age, I asked Jesus into my life, and God answered my plea. I was reborn. Not like the first time, but a whole new life is mine, because, somebody loved me. His name is Jesus. He is the light of my life, guiding me through the darkest nights. That is what I have to be thankful for. Also, when I came across Singsnap, thanks to my dear sister, Phyllis (FuffyPhil), I was feeling pretty good. Then, in mid July, 2007, I caught the chills, and my temperature shot up to 104 degrees. Bruce, my roommate, rushed me to the Veterans Hospital in Seattle. I was there for three days. My fever went away, and I was sent home, only to end up in the hospital again in early August. I was there for 18 days, hooked up to IVs. I had Cryptocaucus Pneumonia and a form of Colitis. I went from around 165 pounds, down to 120 pounds by the time I stopped losing weight. I stand 5' 8", and today, thanks to the healing power of Jesus, I now weight around 177 pounds. Actually, I have lost some weight. I was almost ten pounds heavier. I am getting ready to compete in my eleventh bodybuilding competition. I am 64 years of age now, and I feel great. Every day I thank God for that Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, and what God has done in my life.
