Back in the 90's my sisser, my mom and I all worked within a block of each other in downtown Savannah. It was customary for us to meet up for lunch several times a week. Sometimes we brought friends... sometimes it was just us. On this one particular lunch day, I think it was Gina's (my sisser) birthday so a lot of friends from my work and from theirs showed up for lunch. The place in the background is exactly where we sat... and I heard this tune beginning to play in the background. I started singing to it and Gina who was across from me did the kick under the table shhhh thing..... OH NO SHE DITTIN.... I began to sing louder and before I knew it the whole table was joining in including our mom..... Gina's face was the reddest I have ever seen in my life with embarrassment but she was laughing so hard tears were just falling.... then the waiters and waitresses and passersby joined in as we were outside on the veranda. It became very loud and it was like a "flash" sing..... my sisser would have crawled under the table if at all possible.... IT WAS GREAT!!!! Then when the song ended a roar of applause and my sisser turned around to see that most ALL of City Market had joined in..... BEST BIRTHDAY EMBARRASSMENT FOR MY SISSER EEEVVVEEERRRR... oh Gina I love you so much!!!!! Tears roll down my face and I crack up still xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
