WELCOME TO PHYLHARMONICS (with tunefulterri and beaners13) Here's a cutie I always enjoy hearing and singing. The three of us have sung it often through the years. Different, though, is that now Nance is singing the low part and I'm singing the high one. Terri is the lead although she has a wonderful ear for harmony as well. WELCOME TO PHYLHARMONICS ( with Beaners13 & Tunefulterri) I get such a kick out of this...When we sang together in the quartet, I sang the low part Nance is singing here and she sang the high part that I'm singing here. I had a great time as we were putting this together. We didn't tell Terri we were doing it so I know she'll be surprised and she'll choke up as she listens. We go back a long time together and we love Nance as a sister rather than a first cousin. I hope listeners enjoy this fun song. Nance and I did.

This song started a while back with tunefulterri and then I added a high harmony part which was always Nancy's (beaners13) part. She almost lost her voice entirely but thank God is now able to sing again but in a much, much lower range. She added the part that I normally would do. I hope it's enjoyed by listeners. This is 3 of the 4 original Coalettes. Parts switched and 20 years later but still enjoying singing tgether now that Nance is able to do so. I'm nursing my edema in a recliner with legs elevated. I may have to continue the meds prescribed by the doctor always. We're hoping not but signs look that way. I'll be visiting and listening and commenting as soon as posssible but right now, I must take care of this problem.

This song is on my site several times and every time I sing it, I am touched deeply by it. In this case, I'm singing with my dear first cousin, Nancy, (beaners13). Our mothers were sisters and singers also and very good ones at that. All by ear and when Nancy sang this, I could almost hear our moms singing as they did many times during their lifetimes. Nancy's mom, my Aunt Helen, would play the piano, by ear, and then they'd sing. As we grew older, we'd join in and there had to be harmony. Nancy is also a second part of our barbershop quartet and with this song, she is singing low notes and I'm singing high...just the opposite of what we sang in the quartet. If this song touches even one person's heart as it does mine, I will be thankful.
