With the current recession underway, I had the opportunity to retire from Honda in July 2009 and decided it was a good time for me to change careers and fulfill my dream of becoming a freelance writer. My friends think I’m crazy to start a new career at this point in my life, but writing is my passion.

Years ago I decided I wanted to be a writer so I had a way to make extra money when I retired. So now I'm retired and a writer. Funny how things work out.

I've written for some local magazines and I have some great book ideas (who has time for that?) but mostly I love sales & marketing strategy, I call myself a Marketing Copywriter. Nobody knows what that is. Doesn't matter.

I studied under the great minds of modern marketing and copywriting for the last 16 years.

My wife says to warn you not to talk to me about marketing and advertising cause I won't STFU... whatevaa
