Retired US Navy, love hunting, fishing, golfing, Internet, music, singing, enjoying retirement. I became a member of Singsnap in May of 2007. I am in Singsnap because I feel that music is one of the most important parts of my life. From the time I was a small boy, I have been singing. My two brothers and I sang as a trio in church, Christmas and Easter plays, and anyplace we were invited to sing. Trio disbanded when oldest brother started wearing long pants, LOL. Anyway, while in High School, I sang in Chorus, Glee Club, and in the Church choir. After enlisting in the Navy in 1947, while in boot camp, I tried out for and was a part of the U.S. Navy Bluejacket Choir at Great Lakes Naval Training Station. After that my singing was more or less hit and miss, sometimes singing in Piano Bars and Nite Clubs, just for fun. I of course got married had two children a daughter and a son, and from then my singing career went on hold till I was invited to check out Singsnap, and the rest is history. I do spend a lot of time in here and have met some of the greatest friends anyone could ever want, and it is so much fun. Not in any hurry, but I plan to keep on singing till these pipes are silenced, LOL. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by to listen and thanks for the beautiful remarks they have made.
