I am a closet singer and cannot sing if even one other person is in this house with me. I was never in a choir because that would have required me to stand in front of a person and sing, to audition. THAT wasn't happening!! Before a friend introduced me to this site, I had never sang "out loud" before, but I LOVED singing. Over the years, my voice has gotten stronger.
I quit smoking 3 years ago, in August, 2011. It took a while before I noticed a difference in my singing, but I've been stepping out of my comfort zone lately and have noticed that my range has increased and my voice is much clearer and more confident than in earlier recordings. I'm getting closer and closer to being able to let my voice all the way out. I urge every smoker to toss those death sticks aside. If I can do it, anyone can!!
