~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About Me~~~~ Rather than tell you my whole life story in 100 words or less, let me instead try to give you a taste of my personality. NO, my real name is not Viv Vane but that is my nickname from years ago from a doctor I worked with gave me that name. I am married 36 years for better or worse and it turns out he is an alcoholic so it may be the latter. We have three grown children born 1979, 1981 and 1983 (you do the math). Yep three children in five years, I was a busy stay at home mom for ten years before returning to work to help pay for college. Two boys and the baby girl. All three did in fact graduate from college, very proud of that fact. Don’t get me wrong I love my boys but that girl is my mini me,,, she looks just like me and acts somewhat like me but with more education and tons of talent. THESE PHOTOS ARE YEARS APART AS you can see color and B/W... BOTH three years old MY MIMI ME AND ME... She said one time look at any picture of mom and you will see me in a few years….So proud of “all my children”… which btw is/was my favorite soap opera…. SEE THIS IS WHAT WE LOOK LIKE TODAY... ________________________________________________________________ Aside from singing karaoke, my other hobbies include knitting (I know how exciting), making jewelry, LATEST LOVE IS YOGA, love to bake (why i need Yoga) lost 35 lbs in the past year and of course shopping.... I should really do that as a profession, I am really good at shopping...... ________________________________________________________________ My Outlook on Singing When it comes to karaoke, I just like to have fun and don’t really care all that much about sounding like a brilliant singer, I am okay and just like to sing as well as I can and love the video part,,, but some bad hair days can stop a great sing in a heartbeat. ______________________________________________________ My Thoughts on Listening to Others I work a 40 hour really stressful job and most of the time it is hard to just sit and listen for hours.... and I must confess I am OCD/HDAD,,,ETC. and need that video to keep my attention.... so most of my listens go like this. My friends, people that have listened to me (ie, returned listens), my favorite performers/singers, and then random new people. Sometimes, real-life gets in the way of SingSnap Fantasy Life...... and I HATE THAT. _____________________________________________________________ Contest ~~~~JUST CHANGED MY MIND... AFTER TODAY, NO MORE CONTEST FOR ME....….I don’t like being judged, in the end what does it matter you are not getting rich on SS. Judging on SS is all subjective, not like playing a game and getting points or scoring… This is art and you just can’t judge art…. Not possible……sorry you can’t. I love art and being creative and that is what counts for me….. _________________________________________________________________________ So in short I am a cut up and a flirt and no harm in that right.
