Broke my foot 4/10...surgery on it...pins and rods put in....good grief........................................................................ ................................................................... 9/26/10 Mixed news on my health...The MRI showed tissue damage but the doctor thinks that was there before so it is not a sign of MS thank heavens. Having an EMG on my hands and arms on 10/05 to determine if there is a nerve pinched or blocked...that hopefully will be what is causing the continued burning and numbness in my hands. If there is a nerve blocked then either some kind of injection in my neck or medication...hopefully not another surgery...Still hard to type on the computer as my hands really bother me.................. Love you all who continue to pray for me...God bless you all :)......................... UPDATE 10/26 My ulnar nerve in my elbow is compressed. I had surgery on my radial head in my elbow years ago...they put pins in but in about a month my body rejected them so I had to have them taken back out. Now with all that is going on with my burning hands, they did the EMG and found the ulnar nerve was compressed., I guess they just go in and decompress in the elbow area to relieve the pain and weakness in my arm...I should be fine in no time..,ty sweet friends for your continued prayers. Love to you, Kathy........... UPDATE 10/31 Had surgery on my left elbow area on the 20th. They relocated the ulnar nerve. I still don't feel much difference but I know I have to be patient. TY again for your prayers...xoxoox...................................... UPDATE 8/11/11...This year (so far lol) has been uneventful except for a fall I had 2 months ago...messed up my neck and back BUT with therapy I am much better...still dealing with burning and numbness in my hands but that is something I just have to learn to live with. My good ole fibromyalgia flares up alot but at least I am alive and still kicking and I plan on being around for a looooooooooong time..... Again I want to say I am SOOO grateful for your prayers and your friendships....I really believe Singsnap has kept me sane..(ok I'm nutty but that's ok right???) God bless each one of you......

UPDATE 4/17/12 Spent a couple days in the hospital..thinking it was food poisoning or the flu. Got out but the next day went back in with awful abdomen pain and back pain. Found out my gallbladder doesn't like me anymore so it is coming out May 1st........ ................. Be anxious to get that over with. Went to a new neurologist and she ordered EMG tests to see why I still have this burning/numbness in my hands. Not the best news. I have ulnar neuropathy in my left arm/hand but the part I didn't need to hear is I have permanent nerve damage to the lower level of my neck. Have suffered ever since my surgery on my neck 2 years ago...I try to grin and bear it but gets hard at times. I'm nutty anyway but at times my hands almost drive me over the edge. I'm hangin in though :)))..................................................................... UPDATE 5/16/12...Just got back from doctor..everything is okay from gallbladder surgery and I am feeling good again....... Neurologist put me on yet another medication to see if it will help my hands..3 days so far and nothing different but will give it time. .................................... ................................ Went through the neurostimulation trial where they put a wire up your spine, all the way to your neck and then there is a electronic pulse sensation that is suppose to take away the pain...well sadly it didn't work for me as there is too much scar tissue from my neck surgery..sooooo on yet another medication...I HATE taking meds but they are helping a wee bit so will just have to realize I will never be out of pain....lots worse off than me though so I am just thankful I can still do the things I want to do...thank you again for your prayers....God bless
