MY MAIN PRAYERS ARE FOR MY SOUL SISTER AND BEST FRIEND FOREVER RITA G. BELIEVE IT WHEN SHE SAYS SHE IS NOT GOING BECAUSE IT JUST ISN'T HER TIME. SHE IS LOVED BY SO MANY, SHE CANNOT GIVE UP AND WE WILL PRAY AND TRY TO KEEP HER MIND IN A POSITIVE AND GOOD PLACE. MOST OF ALL WE WILL BE HERE FOR HER. HUGS, SHE'REE
I am a widow with an adult daughter, Amanda, living at home.
I retired from the entertainment business as a vocalist/keyboard artist.
I like to do astrology charts, numerology and read tarot cards for fun. I like to read, watch some TV - American Idol (this one has got to go), The Voice, Dancing With The Stars (Vote for Kellie Pickler & Alexandra Raisman this season), America's Got Talent, 19 Kids & Counting, The Little Couple, Little People Big World, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Breaking Amish etc. I love the good old black & white shows - Andy Griffith, Petticoat Junction, The Beverly Hillbillies, My Three Sons, Leave It To Beaver, The Waltons, Little House On The Prairie and the old game shows. I miss Gilmore Girls and Sex & The City. I love all kinds of music, other than heavy metal or rap.
My daughter and I have awesome cats: Lucky-Marvin-Michael (was just put to sleep at the age of 18 , Xander Anthony (my daughter Amanda's cat) and Buddy-John. A feral female, Cupcake, showed up at our place twice in labor, Her first litter of 8 was premature and she was too young. They all died. The second litter yielded four healthy kittens and one stillborn. We put 3 up for adoption through Friends of All Animals and kept the Mom and one kitten, Boots (black with white bib and belly and of course, white boots.
RIP Pvt. First Class Michael John Thomas, Bronze Star, 101st Airborne, 8-3-47 to 10-25-06. My late husband passed on 10-25-06 from Agent Orange related cancer from his two tours of Vietnam. We were married 24 years. We only have Amanda, as I had two miscarriages before her birth and one when she was four years old.
Besides singing and playing keyboards in lounges for 18 years, I taught organ lessons for a few years and played accordion. I was a member of The Ray Clodoveo Accordion Band, comprised of all teenagers. Ray taught me organ after Nancy Dice, and later accordion. We played the shore points on the east coast, Walt Disney World and competed with other bands in Chicago and New York. Luanne Gustin and I were the vocalists when needed. We recorded a vinyl album. (am i showing my age lol?)
My other interest was baton twirling. I twirled competitively in my teenage years (just last year ;-0) and yes, I twirled fire batons in parades, and went on to teach and later become a judge for Drum Majorettes of America!
It's nice to meet you! While I will be widowed five years on October 25, 2011, friends and family tell me I should be dating. I don't go out socially, but I do believe if there is someone out there that God wants for me, He will let me know. and make sure our paths cross. There are times I get lonely but I can be in a crowd and get lonely. I just try to keep busy and I love my friends and family on here with all my heart. Now, keep on singing. Hugs, She'ree
