Over the years whenever there was a party with some singing I often heard that I should do something with that voice. Well, about three years ago I finally did. I joined 2 choirs and rehearsals have taken over my life. The first piece I learned to sing low bass was the Brahms Requiem. Since then we did Rachmaninoff, Vaughan Williams, Schubert, Dvorak, Bach and many others. In the mean time I am taking some voice lessons to unlearn bad habits. I am enjoying my new musical life tremendously. I especially appreciate the comments on SingSnap, though I had to snicker when someone recently said I was an old pro. I am a beginner, it takes time to learn how to sing. I do my best to leave comments but the ridiculous schedule with the choirs take up my evenings. I can listen to Play Lists all day while I work but it is difficult to leave individual comments.
