I remember singing "You Are My Sunshine" over the telephone at the age of 4 back in 1942 with my mother to her sister (Aunt Carolyn) with the operator ("Numbah, puh-lee-uz!") listening in and remarking: "Isn't he cute!". My parents met at a local talent show. Dad's trio won first prize while my mother and her two sisters -- singing "The Andrews Sisters"-style -- came in second (They were NOT happy!). I sang in military and civilian choirs, retiring from the Navy after 20 years. Living in Las Vegas now, near our grandchildren. Enjoying this site with fellow SingSnap friends and family members, including: brother "Lenny"; daughter "LisaMei62"; son "DaveC007" and his wife Erin ("epcrowley")
