My name is Jonathan, and I have been singing for many years now, 22 to be exact. I initially started off singing country music when I was 9 years old, and had always been a fan of the greats, such as Garth Brooks, George Strait, Tim McGraw, John Michael Montgomery, and Alan Jackson. By the time I turned 15, I had grown to love all types of music. At 18 years old, I transitioned on over to rock, and have been singing a wide variety of songs since. I recently just finished up my active duty contract with the United States Army, after serving 3 years as an Infantryman, and a tour of Duty in Iraq. I met the love of my life in 2010, immediately following completion of Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. I am continuing on in the Army Reserves to fulfill my 8-year obligation. I have also begun my pursuit for my dream job, a Child & Adolescent Psychologist. Now, as music is concerned, I tried out for American Idol in July of 2009, at the site of my favorite sports team's stadium, the Denver Broncos. I was actually born in Denver, and that made it more fitting for me to try my luck at home. It was an absolutely gratifying experience, and waiting amongst 10,000 plus hopefuls, was awesome. I will always make music a part of my life, maybe not so much as a career, as my interests overall have shifted elsewhere, but it will always be my voice, my reason, my creative mind. I have met some very great people on this site so far, and I hope that trend continues.
