I’m mistaken for a flirt when I’m friendly.
I’m mistaken for mean when I’m honest.
I’m mistaken for sad when I want to be alone.
I’m mistaken for shy when I’m quiet.
Quit assuming and get to know me.
This is me.....
The last photo is of my grandparents in Canada - my dad is the little one on the right front - squinching up his nose.....
My Wishes for You:
Comfort on difficult days,
Smiles when sadness intrudes,
Rainbows to follow the clouds,
Laughter to feed your lips,
Sunsets to warm your heart,
Gentle hugs when spirits sag,
Friendship to brighten your day,
Confidence when you doubt,
Faith so that you can believe,
Courage to know yourself,
Patience to accept the truth,
And LOVE to complete your life.....
I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water.
For me, singing sad songs often has a way of healing a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness.
Some of my favorite things
Vanilla Latte, a gentle breeze, a sandy beach, camping, walking barefoot in the grass, a bikeride, jumping on the trampoline, gardening, playing the piano, singing, cooking, sewing, desktop publishing.....
Perkins Park April 7,2013 - My son Jeffrey literally lifted me into the tree and helped me out of it - its not as easy climbing trees as it once was! It was on my bucket list to climb a tree again - can check it off now - I decided I didn't quite want to hang upside down like I used to! LOL
You brighten my day just being you!
I am a Scottish/Dutch/English (and a wee bit French) American Canadian living in the U.S.A. Dad was a Scotsman from Canada and mom Pennsylvania Dutch from the U.S.
I have many autoimmune diseases RA, Lupus, Sjorgrens, Fybromyalgia, Celiac, Asthma, trochateric bursitis, degenerative disc and joint diseases, and now nerve involvement and tons of allergies....I sing because it makes me happy. I have good and bad days. Please forgive me when I'm not up to singing or commenting.
When I lose my fight with all these illnesses I'll be smiling down at you all from heaven.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~There are 5 things in life you cannot recover:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A stone...after it's thrown ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A word...after it is said ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~An occasion...after it's missed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The time...after it's gone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A person...after they die ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Life is short. Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly. Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile!
