I am from Harrison, Arkansas about 35 miles south of Branson, MO. I now live in Central Oklahoma. I have been singing since I was 3, but only in public since I was 16. Music and singing is my passion. I love animals, especially cats!

I love all kinds of music. Singing is my therapy. It is how I deal with bad days or good days. So when you hear emotion in my voice, it is real, which makes a lot of songs very personal to me. Sometimes I question whether I want the world to hear that emotion but I know those are my best songs.

I would say my biggest influences are Patsy Cline and Karen Carpenter but I love Martina McBride and Faith Hill also. I am also a huge Def Leppard fan and have been since I was about 8 years old. My dad was in radio for 40 years, so I was brought up on music anywhere from the 50s and 60s music, to disco, to 80s country and pop and even the hair bands of the late 80s, early 90s. So I would say my love of music is broad. I played percussion in school band for 7 years and would love to play drums in a band again someday. I am also teaching myself guitar, after taking a few lessons when I was 15 and stopping only because my teacher up and quit and they had no one else for me. I have no clue what key I sing in, I just go with it.
