Music was introduced to me by my parents (ar51 and mmr51) at a very young age. They were the music directors for our church choirs (I say choirs because we moved out to Montana from Minnesota when I was going into 3rd grade). I sang with them in our church choirs from the age of 4 until I graduated high school. Throughout the years, my dad always brought his guitar to every camping trip we ever took and we would sing around the campfire. I was VERY involved with the school choir and extra-curricular ensemble as well. We got to travel to many different places in the Northwest to sing with other groups. When I was a Junior in high school, I was the only Montanan selected for the All-Northwest Choir (I felt VERY, VERY privileged and SUPER excited!!! Of course, that wouldn't have been possible without my amazing and brilliant vocal coach, Esther England - Former Dean of Music at UofM, that took me as a student when I was only a Sophomore in high school, God bless her soul!!!).
I am SO blessed to have an amazing husband and two loving daughters that make life more enjoyable.
