I SING FOR ME

(but I just love it when others care to listen!)

Singing is a passion.

It is like a soul mate;

Without it, I would not feel complete.

Singing helps to comfort me when I am sad

and allows me to vent when I feel hurt or angry.

It revives my soul when I am tired,

leads me to smile when I am sad,

and is there to help me celebrate

when those great things in life happen!

Singing makes me feel happy,

and just plain good inside.

The songs that I choose

hold the words that help me convey

my feelings of love,

cope with a void, deal with loneliness,

or attempt to understand a loss.

I sing for many reasons,

or for no reason at all.

I guess you could say that, sometimes,

-what you hear-

are my secrets being told.
