iampears' Profile

iampearsPATRON

iampears' real name is Misty Pearson. Misty is 112 years old, is located in Washington / USA and has been a SingSnap member since March 13, 2009. Currently, she has a total of 165 public recordings.

I'm Missy (aka Misty & iampears).

I will try to sing when I find myself actually caught up with work and chores and not doing anything else. Or, perhaps, when inspiration hits at the right time!

Thank you so much for all your listening & nice comments. I will try to find time to visit your studios...slowly but surely!

So nice to be a part of this ONLINE KARAOKE! I have met some nice friends and have enjoyed singing here even though I'm a beginner in singing solo, other than in the shower or singing along with my favorite artist's songs on CD, iPod or other electronic storage.

I love to sing harmony and duets & for FUN! I don't do "open duets", though, especially if I have to sing harmony or 2nd voice as it's difficult for me without listening to the 1st voice or melody. Also, my range is alto, so I have to find a voice that would complement my limited range. For me, SingSnap is all about fun, trying something new, and being in a community of peeps who share the same passion: music and singing.

My younger brother, Dave (a college professor & sings on the side). He recorded "Hello Again" by Neil Diamond on my account when I was visiting Manila last March.

My son, Donny, added a sax quartet - alto, tenor, baritone; and a "whistle" at the end part - via a Roland synthesizer/keyboard. He wanted to add a "big band" feel to the free track.
