Just a bit about freespirit_tx aka Barbara J~ I'm originally from PA, near the Cold shores of Lake Erie. Moved to TX in 2002 and fell in Love, with Both the state & my future husband, Gary (He Really was "too good" to be True!). I have 2 grown sons that still live in PA and my grandaughter, Daphne, who was almost as tall as I am (which is Only 5') the last time I saw her. I've Always enjoyed singing, but never considered myself very good. However, karaoke gave me an outlet that allowed me to consider that I could sing Better than some! LOL! In the last few years I have developed asthma and thus couldn't go out due to smoking conditions, thus I was Very happy to be introduced to SingSnap! I try to sing when I am up to it. I love to harmonize and do have some Open Duets and invite anyone to check them out. I've run a few challenges & contests and enjoyed being a judge for others as well (anyone remember Garfy?)! I am a "couch-potato" SPURS Fan and even have my guest bathroom filled with decor for My Team!! Soo happy to have them in the Playoffs this year! Go SPURS GO Photography and scrapbooking are also hobbies that I dabble in! Also love the Smurfs! As you can see by this pic of me & my hubby!! Oh and I Love to host parties and promote SingSnap Sing karaoke....have even taken it mobile to friends homes by request!! They love the huge selection of tunes and all the features! Recently I was honored to be a part of SingSnaps Special Events Team and join a Great bunch of Crazy Ladies! Who "lovingly" call me ~BarD~!
