Thanks for visiting studio. I was born in Puerto Rico but reared in New York City. I learned how to play trumpet in elementary school and was privileged to be invited to play with the All City Orchestra and was accepted to the La Guardia High School of Music & Art in NYC which was the school that the movie Fame was based on.That was an unbelievable experience. I would change trains 4 times carrying books and either a trumpet or flugelhorn on a 1 and 1/2 hour trip ONE WAY to school everyday from Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn to Harlem USA.The list of the alumni from that school is a virtual who's who in the world of the arts. Here's a link. See if you recognize some of the names..
Anyway , my love of music I think is ingrained in my DNA. As a small child you could hand me any instrument and in 15 minutes i was playing a song, maybe not very complex, but recognizable. I also have fun playing piano and I am working on singing. I guess I'm a natural baritone , but most of the cool songs are for tenors and so I am working on developing my upper range. I thought about estrogen injections.... I'm just kidding. Anyhow thanks for the visit and if you've gotten this far in my profile you are either not wrapped too tight OR a kindred spirit that knows that about music a wise man said "Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything."
