I am new to singing but something inside of me is telling me to go foward with this. I sang a little in the church choir when I was a kid. Ofcourse I wanted to be a rock star as a teen but lacked the self confidence to get up in front of a crowd. Well next came the military, then marrage and kids and work and all that other stuff in life that keeps you away from your dreams. Years later I discover kararoke but for me that meant going to the bars and all the troubles that came with that so again I was discouraged. Then just by shear chance I find SingShap, tried it and got hooked. I knew pretty quick that it was what I was searching for. So here I go. This venue has opened doors for me.

So here I am only a few months later with a few songs under my belt. A few I've deleted but I will always keep my very first just to remind me of where it all began. I am learning alot about technique, set up and mixing. Other Singsnap members are always happy to help me and give insight and how-to info. I have corresponded with people from all over the world. Now that is cool. I have saved a ton of money and stayed out of trouble by not going to the bars "hardly" anymore to sing karaoke. I bought some vocal courses over the internet which have helped me out, also a good mic from my local music shop. But mostly I have found happiness in doing something I enjoy and have received a bunch of support and encouragement from my fellow "SingSnappers" Thank You!!

Wow, time sure does fly by I and see myself taking on progressively harder songs to do. I have begun to find my range and become comfortable in it. My true inner style has not yet been discovered but I am seeking it. I am just overwhelmed with the help and support I have received from this singing community of SingSnap. I could not have acheived what I have done so far without the input, advice and technical tips I have gotten from our members. I am forever grateful.
