I'm so happy you stopped by!

I love to sing even though I was born with a perforated eardrum in one ear and nothing to speak of for an eardrum in my other ear. This makes singing a bit more of a challenge for me. Not a problem - I love a challenge!

I grew up in a home where my Daddy loves vintage Country music and on Sunday mornings after church he'd sit and play his guitar and sing. His Dad used to have his own band. Following in their footsteps I learned to play guitar and sing. I wrote song lyrics in my early junior high years and later on my high school Creative Writing Teacher convinced me to send some of them to a studio in Nashville where they were put to music and recorded. One of these days I'll sing them here!

My beautiful Mom traded in her butterlies for a pair of angel wings January 9, 2012 after suffering a massive stroke. I love you so much Mom!! Exactly 6 weeks (almost to the very minute) I had to say good-bye to my 10-1/2 year old Jesse James. He was my absolute best friend, always at my side and always full of unconditional love. He is now in my Mom's arms in heaven. She was his "Cheerios Gramma". RIP Mom and Jesse!! I love you both!! Please have a listen to the dedication sing I did for Mom "Always On My Mind" below.
