Music is my life!! I was a music performance major in college for the flute. I wanted to play in an orchestra, but then I got carpal tunnel and couldn't play for very long before I lost feeling in my fingers so had to give that up (was before the surgery was a good option). I eventually discovered karaoke and found my new musical outlet! I got my mom into it also, and she and I started a karaoke/dj business and now we have even more fun! It doesn't matter if I'm good or not, it helps me to relieve stress (which I have alot of being a single mother of an ADHD child!!!) and let loose. I couldn't believe it when I found this site, thought it was so cool, but unfortunately at first it didn't support my USB mic and I couldn't figure out how to change the settings so it would work. Now that they've made the changes, I'm so happy I can sing my fav karaoke songs all the time, PLUS record myself so I can see where I need to improve. The people I've met so far have been so nice, this is the most awesome site!!!!

P.S.----If anyone would like to take pity on me (lol), would love to be sponsored for gold, there is NO way I can afford it. Lost my house, car, and job all within a month....my son's father is crazy and drove my car into the side of my house on purpose (which I was renting, the landlords decided not to fix it right away, were probably waiting for insurance $$), then due to the stress and everything else related to that incident I had to call off work and got fired. If you want to see the pics so you know I'm not making up some sob story here is the link to my facebook page- http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=61221&id=785957165. Like I said up there, singing is a real stress relief for me. I've been here every day since I realized that SS supports USB mics now
