~To paraphrase one of my many cherished friends here... I hate when life gets in the way of my SingSnap time. Well what can I say, I love music, and that's why I'm here. I'm the one you see driving down the road singing behind the wheel, or plugged into an ipod doing yard work. I enjoy everything from artists like Dan Fogleberg or Travis Tritt to Metalica. I acquired this love and eclectic taste from my parents at a very young age. My mother listened to artists like, Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, Herb Albert, and Elvis just to name a few. My dad on the other hand, was hard core country, preferring the likes of Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, and Jim Reeves. Mix in a little R&B and southern rock, and later even some harder rock and, well... you get the picture. My singing experience before SS started in church choir, and extended through junior and senior high school concert chorus. And until now I hadn't really focused on singing. With the exception of trying it at a party, I had never sang karaokee before. But In the very short time I have been a member here, I have learned some new songs and become acquainted with some wonderful and talented people. So, like so many others, there are not enough hours in the day to spend here, and I wish I would have found this forum sooner.
~ Always keep a song in your heart, and Live, Laugh and Love life to its fullest.~
...it's the only one we've got.
