Hi! My name is Dave. Welcome and know that any listens and comments you choose to gift me with are much appreciated!
I would like to share a personal story with my friends and fellow snappers.
My Dad was a loving, responsible, honest and hard working man.
He also loved to sing. My Dad however was a horrible singer. So bad in fact it was a running joke with me and my sisters to tease my Dad about how bad his singing was.
My Dad didn't care though. He would just sing louder because singing brought my Dad joy. My Dad sang in the shower. He sang when he washed the dishes. He sang to me when I was a boy. He sang to his grandchildren and to his pets. Every time my Dad sang he was smiling!
My Dad loved to sing! He just wasn't any good at it.
The morale of this personal story is a simple one.
When it comes to the joy of singing it is never about the singing itself. But always about the joy it brings and the joy it gives.
Here is a video of mine on my youtube channel.
