255 pages of songs I can't sing.

I couldn't be happier if you stuck needles in my eyes.

I'm know there are some people happy about this
and I'm glad you were able to make some of my friends who can understand and sing these songs happy

I looked and I see Novella hasn't given these tracks a chance and tried something fresh and new yet. Hmmmmmm.....

Thank you for letting me know that there will be new songs posted that are not Latin. I was like OMG!! I speak latin about as well as I speak german.... just not done. So happy that there are going to be new ENGLISH songs, but I am happy for the Latin speaking community in Singsnap they must be really happy now.

for those like me that dont know spanish, its still beautiful to listen to even if you dont know what the heck they are saying lol

maybe some cool old 70s music would be nice today or maybe some new stuff thats just out on the music market? Or license some of the songs they had on here but then took away ? Im game for something other than the songs that never made the top forty

you have songs on here that are licensed but we in america cannot see because they are not licensed in other countries... so whats the deal on that??

SingSnap is proud to maintain legal agreements with all parties involved in the music publishing and recording businesses. Regularly, special considerations with regard to a song's availability must be made to respect the copyright holder's wishes. Also, some producers may have specific requirements concerning their songs' availbility. Each of these issues are unique and quite complex, and typically vary by region. Therefore, at any given time some songs may not be available to play or record in a specific locale. Rest assured that we'll always have tons of great songs available to sing!

Unfortunately, licensing is still an issue. Some songs are restricted for our use and we must respect the copyright holders wishes. This is something that is unavoidable. :(

any thing outher than Latin being added ? ive been a good boy and ive been adding some requests . its neary 9pm here in the uk . and normaly posted by now . dont get me wrong i`m deleighted for people who like and understand latin music . but will there be any new posts this week ? signed your ever loveing pain in the neck :-)

But I will start doing it once my Latin fever comes down a bit :D

Probably because ss has folks from all over the globe singing on here, and the number of speakers in the world of both the languages of English and Spanish are close to the same amount:

I think it would be cool to learn to sing it myself, being American of French/Hispanic heredity.

Heck I wish I was lucky enough to know at least two. ;o)

I'm glad the site has expanded it's library to include new foreign language songs, and I hope they keep doing it. Even if the English speaking members vastly outnumber the non-English speaking members, in truth it's the diversity of the members on this site that lends to making this place such a successful and growing social community. In my opinion, and this is just my measly two cents, but I feel the sensitivity the site extends to it's members in the form of having any new "options", especially offering karaoke music in many languages, will always be a step in the right direction.

Perhaps there aren't many Spanish speaking people because the latin content was not big enough to attract them... I have confidence in saying that you will see new members from latin countries (or natives Latinos) buy a singsnap suscription, its all matter of time while they find the site (publicity?). I am Venezuelan, speak/read/write fluent both English and Spanish so I am a happy bunny :)

And to singsnap, thank you again, I have been with you since the early days and now you have renew your 'wedding vows' with me LOL Hope you manage to do the same for the rest.

Being a native of Cuba, I am personally happy with all the Spanish songs...although, they are not really new...most I've known for years since I was a lil kid, but is ok, I like the oldies too!

Personally, I think it's BRILLIANT that SS is expanding to Latino songs! Can't sing them? Learn I say!!
I come from UK where all we ever bloody hear is English songs! When I go on vacation ANYWHERE else in the the world I hear great songs from in other languages....Spanish, Portuquese, French, Finnish,Italian ... They play English songs too! So why can't we try something new? Listen to all the other non English Europeans on here who sing English so beautifully!
Shame on us "English"
