The concept behind this is simply to meet new people! Sign-Up by December 9th and then check back to see who your Secret Snapper is! Exchange a few PMs, get to know them, listen to a few of their songs and then on December 13th - dedicate a song especially to them based on what you learned!
Everyone who participates will get their dedication song added to our Secret Snapper playlist and will be awarded a participation banner!
We will also be featuring videos all day so be sure to get creative and have lots of fun!

How did you find Sing Snap...A friend when i lost my baby girl R.I.P theses place has open there arms to me and in my time here i have meet some in person and many friends that we have talked on the phone and wrote each other and many now i help with there sound this is the only family i got left and i know when my time comes to pass ya will miss me as when we have lost great friends here i sure miss but never for got in are hearts god bless ya

You are invited to participate in the first ever "My Secret Snapper" challenge! Regardless of where you live, what cultural background you have or which religion you follow - 'Tis The Season For Giving! Everyone likes to give and sometimes even receive so we hope you'll join us in a very special holiday challenge!
One of the most wonderful things about SingSnap is forming bonds with people all across the world and making new friends. Many of you can attest to the fact that SingSnap has brought you an extended 'virtual' family. This challenge is designed to hopefully connect you to a brand new Snapper - or perhaps even reconnect you with an old friend! Read the guidelines below but essentially you will state your interest to participate, we will pair you up with a secret snapper and then you will sing them a song! It's that easy!
1. Post on this thread by 12:00 Noon EST December 9, 2011 that you want to participate.
2. You must be available between Dec 9th and Dec 13th to exchange a few private messages with your new friend.
3. Check this thread after 5:00 PM EST December 9th to see the secret snapper pairs revealed.
4. Contact your secret snapper and get acquainted by December 12th.
5. Sing a song dated December 13, 2011 for your new special friend!
6. In the song comment section, tell us who your Secret Snapper is and why you chose the song.
7. Submit the song on this thread in the following format:
Your Name
Your Secret Snapper's Name
Song Title
Song Link
8. Webcams are not required but are encouraged.
9. The challenge is open to all member of the site.
10. One song per Snapper
11. Promotion of non-challenge songs is strictly prohibited.
12. Post your link only once. If you think we missed it, send a private message to the Events Team.
13. Have Fun!
Once you sign-up, just sit back and wait eagerly to find out who your secret snapper will be! Once we reveal your secret snapper, we strongly suggest you touch base as soon as possible as they may be in a different time zone than you. You can ask them questions, say hello, introduce yourself - whatever you want! You can even send them the mini-questionnaire below to help get you both started.
You will then have a few days to get to know one another, musical taste and interest! Then on December 13th you will sing a song hand selected just for your friend! Perhaps it will be their favorite song, maybe it will be a track by their favorite artist, or it may just remind you of them because of a story they shared with you
In the song comment section, tell us who your secret snapper is and why you chose the song you did!
You may sing any song you want! Harmonize, duet with your new friend, gender benders - absolutely anything as long as the song is dated December 13th. Please remember, while duets are welcome, this is not a duet challenge so you may be paired up with a member of the same gender. We are not taking gender into consideration when assigning Secret Snappers!
