Having Trouble Copying & Pasting Song Links

Have just noticed today that the entire song link does not appear in the 'link' box, so it's sometimes difficult to copy and paste it from there. A few times today, thought I had the whole thing, but didn't, and wouldn't have known had I not been told, and then checked and gotten the message "Sorry, that recording could not be found".
