Can we get back the old link to post our songs on Facebook?

The way it is now sends it only to our profile and it never seems to go on the news page...lot's of my friends on FB that were listening to my songs, say they no longer see them unless they happen to go to my profile page.

Lots of members of SS have commented to me that they are having the same problems.

I Would also like the old way back,I cant even share one to fb any more. I guess it fb it is a mess.

you can take the address of your song and put it on facebook yourself and it will come out just like it did when they had the button that's what I do

On facebook when they comment it should also go to singsnap

I don't know if this would be possible, but could we have a instant messaging so that we could chat right on the site with our fans and favorites but where we wouldn't have to go to the chat room itself

I guess what i'm wondering would be like the facebook chat, where can view who's online from our fans and favorites and chat instantly when we click on their names.

If you're having a problem (most of us are with the FB timeline, UGH), just copy the song URL and post it on your home page, not your timeline. See if people can then see it, like and comment.

My one suggestion make camera viewers have to get permission before being allowed to view your cam while in a chat room. There are some people that haraa me and if I could just deny them the ability to watch me while in rooms like main chat. I would feel much better its the main reason I no longer participate in main. They do it on many other sites just a suggestion

Something really needs to be done about all the buffering. Its very annoying. I cant listen to a person sing without it buffering at least 3 to 5 times during a song. You need to upgrade this issue.

How about being able to arrange your recordings like you could do with your friends on Myspace? and even a notification of when your favorites record something new?

what about and if possible connecting up to UTube directly from Singsnap any plans for such an adventure in the future I think That would be awesome
as so many people go to Utube just a though but I think it would be a great one even if there was a small increase for those that would be interested

This might have been touched upon, but I'll add or introduce my own ideas about singsnap and FB. I almost seem like begging for attention and approval when I have to anotate"The comment box you see on the recording page is for registered users inly, but you can leave your likes and comments below'. Can't a plain youtube type window be employed where the comments box is missing, instead of a simple link to the members page? I know full well the window is designed to have people find out more about singsnap, and that'd be a valid argument not to change anything, but people outside the site need to have a way to comment, perhaps with a tag leaving their name, or a seperate social networking comment blog where people could leave a comment and facebook automaticallyposts the comment like on the feed page. You could set up seperate blog response windows for each of the major social networking sites like FB, Twitter, MySpace (if anyone uses that anymore LOL) coupled with the ability to post there like on Facebook. I think one can dewsign a way toi becoime more integrated with social networking without compromising security. Personally, if a friend recorded something on the karaoke channel online, I wouldn't go through the registration process just to comment on the song, especially when by the time I got back to click and listen (after signing up, setting up my basic porofile, and validating my email like on singsnap) I would at the very least have lost interest in doing so... that's why no one comments on songs, even after dsozens of views from facebook friends. It does hardkly anything to boost one's confidence when a song one has worked hours learning and perfecting gets absolutekly no comment or acknowledgement that it was even viewed.
A seperate question I'd like feedback on:
In the number of views next to the window, above the number of comments, are external links counted? Or just Singsnap views? Even after posting on FB I don't get views counted although I am well known in my circles for my singing and I know people are clicking and listening.

I never understood the curb appeal of the site. Frankly, the first impression of the site one gets off the street is lackluster- dull color scheme, not even minimal special effects like a flash effects slideshow. The template tabbed pages is a good idea, but I've created more flashy, appealing onesmyself in Dreamweaver. The site definately deserves a facelift... it looks like the web template was taken off a free website hosting provider ten years ago.

I concur... I automatically copy the URL and post it in the timeline box, when SS used to do it automatically
