i think i would prefer to have the truth as to throw stars my way just to make me feel good .if i need more practice or a totally different song i think the truth rules . some of the songs on here are so over rated and we all know that. why? singing makes us feel good and i love listening to all your songs also but 5 stars when i dont care to even hear the whole song. im not being ugly here i just think most of us would appreciate the truth.puss71762

There is one particular lady I have commented on and to be honest she is painful to listen to but she is sweet and she lives alone and she has made friends here. So I say well done and you go girl. You want me to finish her off my "telling the truth" There are too many people who take SS too seriously. Just have fun. It isn't a contest and you won't win any money. Why oh why moan about something so trivial. Who gives a toss about how many orange stars one gets. I have songs that have no stars that I thought were fabulous and some songs with orange stars that should have been dumped. Lets try and live in the real world sometimes

PS..my "feel good" status does not depend on how many orange stars I get or don't get on any given song. C'mon...according to the TV the world is gonna end in December 2012 so instead of worrying about orange stars, just sing as many songs as you can between now and then lolololo

You're right, some people take this s*** way too seriously and they are spoiling it for those of us who just want to have fun and hang with their friends.

As much as I always speak my mind, there is a time when you need to just think about what you are going to say when you know it would really hurt someones feelings. If someone made a negative comment on one of my songs ...so what, everyone has an opinion on what they like and don't like but the one thing I really like about SS is that it's not a "mean persons paradise" There are some people who really have very little in their lives and I wouldn't want to be that one person to say"this song really sucked but carry on"

I have 5 stars on half my songs but I don't actually come to singsnap to see how much praise I get. I sing for me. I also think that if you have a long list of friends here you will get 5 stars each time. It is just so unimportant. Unless you are in a competition. I do believe that too many people take it all too seriously. having said that, I have left nice comments on people who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket just for encouragement.
