I still agree that folks shouldn't spam,just sayin we can't really lump them all together in the same batch.

And I do think that people give up real quick on the promotions thread,because a few feel the need to post every song they sing on every thread.:P lol

Which it really doesn't matter to me if they do,they have every right to.Just sayin i'm sure it turns many away. ;)

I love threads that occasionally go off topic. In my mind it adds to a thread rather than takes away from it. But ...... what do I know ... LOL

*throwin my two cents in* I've always felt that if tons of people viewed a song, but few left comments...they didn't like it so much....jus sayin. I received a PM a couple of days ago (I'm blessed to have received only 4-5 the entire time I've been here). It just had the song link, nothing else. I replied, saying "And you sent me this.....why? Do you need help recording?" lol...imagine this...no response! Still didn't go to the song tho :P

Some people use it childishly as a weapon. They click on your song over and over to make it appear your song was bad (lots of views with few comments). I pay no mind to views vs comments for that reason. Also, some people have friends (from FaceBook for instance) who will listen to your public song but can't comment (and don't want to bother to sign up to do so). Then there are 'click throughs' from the feature page... people who want to sing the song you sang but don't really want to hear you. Last but not least, sometimes people just want to know how the song goes so they listen to a portion of your song... then off they go to sing it themselves. :)

Perhaps because they can't understand why you don't want to listen to them. I mean, they are wonderful and get upset when us mere mortals don't drop to our knees and worship their greatness.

I did a feature page song where someone left a comment which didn't tally up with my ''performance'' I called the person out as a spammer. The nasty replies I received in pm confirmed my original thought. I'm not allowed to post pm's as it is against toc/tou.

i dont know whats more sad that people go so low as to spam to get in to hof/pc or the fact that it works.

I just block them and go on with my day . I just do not think that those folks Are worth the effort of getting worked up over.
