am i the only one that hates smileys........i gt them on facebook, and on yahoo messenger, and even on msn messenger...........i thought id be safe on ss....safe from the smileys....now theyre here too............

Hi Donny.. if you do not like Smileys.. why are you hanging out in here? 
Buying a MAC will not stop you from seeing them! You just cannot use the program 
I actually created this to help a friend.. and for the fact that I hate seeing smileys that take up half a page on comments.. I would rather people use this.. the smiley are small and are animated.. 
I will ask you just one time since you are the only person who seems to be disappointed about this.. please refrain from complaining.. if you don't like smileys.. don't come in this thread and complain about it.. it won't change anything that is happening and does no good to spread nagativity..

Right. You'd have to write in the new codes, and we'd have dl a new program. Well, if you ever decide to upgrade, maybe you could add some of the ones I have ...? They're pretty good, I think. I'll post them here next time I'm on my photobucket account.

Blondy, I have Firefox as well and this is how I did it.
1) Click Tools then downloads, then double click the Smile-Awhile folder opening the containing file.
2)Right click anywhere on your desktop, choose new then folder, creating a New Folder.
3)Go back to the file containing the icon with Smile-Awhile and choose Extract All. I use WinXP Pro so it's on the left near the top.
Once Windows extraction wizard comes up choose next, then click browse and choose the New Folder you created, then click Next.
4)It shouldn't take but a blink and the program will now show up in your New Folder you created with a big smiley icon.
Left click, hold and drag the smiley icon to your desktop.
That's it, hope this helps.
