Hello fellow snappers! How are you? Hope everyone is doing well! I wanted to share this with you: I withdrew myself from the competition due to ministerial reasons. I wanted to let you know that Marcelle tried to encourage me to stay but she respected my reasons for withdrawing. This contest was absolutely a blessing. I got to meet some sweet people and even got to share some spiritual encouragements with some of you. I've always wanted to go to New Orleans at Mardi Gras but I think for me it would be the same as going to Japan when it comes to trying to understand what you all are talking about. I've been in the entertainment field, and music professionally and semi-professionally for over 30 years.
I've been involved in live entertainment, sound reinforcement and design of systems.
I've been onstage with big names and no names (like me)...and enjoyed every minute.
I've been blessed to be onstage with Marcelle in Chicago.
You people are as talented as about anyone I've worked with.
As far as contests go, I've enjoyed this one as much as any I've been involved in, and talking with Marcelle, I've seen someone who shows 100% honest and non-biased evaluation of the singers.
I'm the same and I'm positive the rest are.
I appreciate the people here and hope that the end of the contest doesn't mean the end of our abuse of each other.
