A niche message for anyone in UK near Bristol

Just did opening night of this show; which I have both written sketches for and perform in.

Mostly sold-out but a handful of tickets left for Fri & Sat if you fancy some music & satire

Please say hello if you do come along!!

...as a sneak peek; here's an early treatment of a Shakespeare adaptation I wrote for the show.

(its now a group piece set in the UK Parliament as an argument between the 2 sides of the House)

Meh, I voted remain for Brexit, mostly because unlike some of the idiots that voted leave, I don't waste time complaining about immigrants.

Show complete! Sold-out the run & hoping to tour.

A little story to add... our director traveled to London from Bristol yesterday for the people's vote march & made it back to work the lighting board for last night's show.

A true, passionate Patriot.

What has this got to do with karaoke, this is a site for singing and socialising, not for somebodys political views?

You'd probably have a much less compelling argument if this was posted on the Off Topic section of the forum. All kinds stuff posted there even something about sorcery.

I promoted a performance I was in beforehand and posted links to excerpts from that show afterwards as others had expressed an interest in it.

Singsnap is a social media forum, not just a karaoke tool

Everything I do is, by default, related to karaoke; as it formed a large part of my background being my point.

I don't see the point of your argument, I expressed a view regarding politics on a karaoke site!

Ok, let's try again.

This is the "Promotions" thread, which I used to promote a theatrical show I was performing in. This show was a political, satirical sketch show.

Following the show, I posted tales & recordings from the aforementioned, promoted show for the benefit of folk showing interest through either posts, pms or views.

At no point, have I invited a political debate to begin here on Snap.

I, therefore, don't see the point of your objection.

Is this record still held by you or has it been broken?

The_Holy_MoleLEVEL 64

Dude, it got broken by someone 3 months later; so quickly that it meant I only got the certificate and not a printed book entry.

That said, the guy tripled my time so fair play to him .

However, I'm the only person to ever set the time without repetition

Further to my last point, I would argue the "politics" could potentially affect karaoke if Copyright Law is not given due consideration

Hence the concern here: http://www.britishcopyright.org/news/2018/statement-european-parliament-vote-copyright-directive/

Meh, I voted remain for Brexit specifically because I don't waste time bemoaning the state of the UK because of immigrants.

Without immigration, most Taxi firms in the UK would have no drivers, especially Uber, and the Hospitals would have no Doctors.

Writing for the sequel to our Anti-Brexit show is well under way and we have 2 theaters lined up for dates in Dec & Jan 19; just in case this nonsense hasn't been stopped by then.

I have a lot more creative input this time & there will be a lot more songs in it.
