Uuggghh..sick as a dog. Won't be singing for a while. :~(
I may be mistaken, but I don't think there is such a thing.
If you are talking about going straight from a usb to a 3.55 (1/8") audio plug, then that is not possible with just an adapter.
If that isn't what you are talking about then I humbly apologize...

A Google search provides several results - can you be specific as to what you're trying to do - are you wanting to connect a USB mic to a microphone input on a sound card or computer?
Does anyone know where a retailer who provides female USB to male 3.55 adapters might be?HawkDJ

I see what you're talking about - in a nutshell the 3.5mm microphone jack on the computer can only accept an analog signal - not the digital one the USB mic sends.

I just bought a new mic off the internet and thought it had a cord with it and it did not. So I ordered a cable to connect to the mic but the end piece was to big to fit in the back of my computer so I got a adaptor and it fits but I cannot get the mic to work.My old mic was all one piece from best buy fit right into the back of computer. Can you tell me why my new mic is not working and it does fit into the back of my computer?

I'll need to know the make, model and model number of the microphone purchased and which adapter you got:
XLR to 1/8" male
1/4" female to 1/8" male
Thanks,
~ Chris

I'm making an assumption this IS NOT a USB mic. If it is a USB mic it can only be connected to a USB port on the computer.
Thanks,
~ Chris

You are correct that a digital signal from a usb mic cannot be directly plugged into the mic or line-in jack on a sound card, which is an analog input. But all the sound cards I've worked with have had a S/PDIF Digital Input jack. I never worked with a sound card digital port and don't know what the signal format is. But theoretically, it is possible to have an adapter that would match the digital format coming from a usb mic to the digital format the sound card needs.
