Welcome to SingSnaps ONLY Official contest where we can give you the Gold!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL THE CONTEST INFO BELOW NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE

This Contest is for Blue Members Only!!
This contest will give members who Only hold a blue membership, a chance to win gold and try out all of our gold features!
If you are new, we would like to welcome you to Sing Snap and hope you stay with us for a long time!

You may ONLY have a blue account to join this contest!
Please, only sign up if you are able & willing to make it through the entire contest!
This Contest is about 3 1/2 weeks.
If you cannot participate throughout, please give others a chance.

If you leave the contest without good cause after you have made it to Round 1,
you may not audition again for 2 months!!

ONLY SingSnap Backing Tracks are allowed!
There will be no useage of widgets or cubase.
It will be cause for immediate DQ if we find that you are using anything
but the SS backgrounds!
For ALL of the rounds we will need a freshly recorded song.
WE DO NOT ALLOW HARMONY.
Light echo & reverb are allowed.
Cams are allowed and MANDITORY in the finals though they will no longer be part of our judging process.

2nd Best Vocals - 3 months
3rd - 2 months

JUDGING
There are a minimum of 12 Judges~3 per Group, as well as alternates & back-ups.
Back-ups are also listening & will replace any Judge who needs time-off or as "tie-breakers" if needed.

You are judged (individually) based on 4 categories: (Highest possible score: 40)
Voice & Clarity (1-10);Can we hear you & the music equally?
Do we hear background noises, ie: tv, kids, mic noises, chair moving, gum chewing?
Emotion (1-10);Do you feel the song? Do you make Us feel it?
Pitch (1-10); Speaks for itself! Did you claim/choose a song in Your range?
Judges over-all impression of performance (1-10); This can depend on the song you pick & How you present it!

MOST IMPORTANT:
LISTEN TO YOUR SONGS BEFORE SUBMITTING!!

Contest Schedule:
There are 5 rounds, semi finals & finals with different genre themes.
To start we will accept 60 sign ups.
Usually, 10 are cut from each round, including DQ's & withdrawals.
Make Note: You Need to Read Page 1 Instructions & "flag" thread so you can check thread for any up-dates/changes!
Rounds End ~ Deadline is Noon SingSnap Time (Eastern)
Rounds Start~as soon as scoring is totaled; often within 1 hour & then the Claiming Frenzy begins!
(When claiming begins it is on a first called, first claimed proceedure. Judges will be keeping track and up-date name & song selections list as often as possible. Songs Cannot be changed once claim is approved.)
ONLY JUDGES ARE TO DO UP-DATES DURING THE CONTEST.
YOU MUST HAVE A CAM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FINALS!!
However, reminder: as of this contest.. GGO 4, we will Not be scoring on cam performances.
