Ok Already made solid plans... the Hotel is the Courtyard Marriot http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/dtttr-courtyard-detroit-troy/ The rate will be $69/night. I have booked a block of 10 rooms first come first serve for August 10th. Please book by July 20th. If we book at least 10 rooms they will provide a shuttle at no cost to and from the restaurant, which is less than a mile away! We will meet at the hotel before 7pm to have drinks.
The venue will be at 1477 Grill (formerly Marios Grill) in Troy, Michigan. They have phenomenal food and drink specials. Fun fun! Just a reminder, in case folks didn't catch it in the middle of the thread... The date is moved to Aug 3, the THIRD of August, 8-3-12, got it? get it, good.
(And I haven't been called "the entertainment" since my brother's bachelor party, but I'm trying to supress that.... - it's the reason I can't run for president!)
Like last year, sometime when I have a chance, probably out in June, I'll post a link where you can download my songlist. You can send me any requests, I'll see if I can pick it up ahead of time -- also you can bring your own discs/memory sticks, etc...

OK GUYS I hope you're reading this, but the Karaoke DJ has cancelled on us and we need to find someone who has the ability to DJ for us.. or we'll have to hire someone which I will need to do ASAP.. I have no idea of the cost etc.. but I may be able to cover the cost since its my party and I want you all to have a good experience as long as it is not like more than 200. Do you know of anyone in the area ?? Thanks all for your help. I'm working on my end and will let you know asap if I find something..

These are pretty raw, but if you just use the search function of whatever it comes up in (probably Word by default if you have it...), or for the more savy of those of you out there, you can import it into a spreadsheet to do some sorting n stuff...
I've even had people bring this up on their iPhone as we were singing!
I will have books there, printed a loooong time ago, so none of my newer stuff.

Please join us August 10th, 2012 for a Singsnap party near Detroit, Michigan.. Would love to hear from Singsnappers to find out how many can attend , I will post more tomorrow to call different venues and hotels.. Hotel will cost less than $100 (least $60 max $100). We are looking at a Venue that is already offering Karaoke so we will meet there after dinner for drinks.. So the cost to you only will be hotel, drinks and food!
