If you listened to Trevor's video, you will see that the money from the shamrock and hearts campaign helped him to offer that great savings this summer of a year's membership for $80. He said that LOTS of people took advantage of that. Personally, I think that alone is worth the money. If it goes back into the site to make the site better, as Trevor has said, well then that's pretty darn cool. And it is also VOLUNTARY! Nobody said your friends couldn't just say they are your friends and you do the same...send them a little heart graphic of your own or whatever.

Since it is voluntary, nobody is being USED! Just my opinion.

Well of course I'm going to participate in this one. If not, I would have to change my screen name. Lol

This is a business. For crying out loud. It's SUPPOSED to make a profit. If it didn't, it wouldn't be around long and then you'd have to go sing at some other site. I've looked around at different karaoke sites. I had no intentions of leaving here. I was just curious. I think I can say without a doubt that SS has the best features and I mean even for NON-PAYING aka Blue members. Most others would not even give paying members what Blue members get here.

The smiley, shamrock and hearts campaigns are VOLUNTARY! Nobody said your friends couldn't just say they are your friends, give you a smile or a heart from a site where they get graphics, etc. and you can do the same.

Since it is voluntary, nobody is being USED! Just my opinion.

Btw, dave. In your status message you make it seem like each smile is $2. I couldn't afford $40, but those who could, then would be able to send 100 smiles. Those 100 smiles would not be $200 to purchase.

I'm happy to purchase the smiles, because, if it's a way I can make someone's day, then that's great! I purchased a bunch of them cuz I consider my Sing Snap friends...just as genuine as my physical friends! It doesn't take much of an effort, or money, to put a smile on the face of someone you care about!

No, unfortunately not. If you want the Snap Star tag back, send us a PM to Support. However, being a Snap-Star isn't just the tag, it's the nifty new nickname colour too. So technically, when people look at your name they know you're a Snap Star because of the color. So you kind of DO have both right now!Novella
