Yes you are right,,,,,I don't even know who to talk to about it,,,they have several "new" songs that never ever make the feature,,,I've asked about it through SS support but all I get back are the political answers of how the feature works!!

Hi there,
We do our very best to provide everyone with as much content as we possibly can. Unfortunately, that involves a lot of work. We host a 100% legal song library and it takes time to add content and to verify and maintain licensing restrictions. We're always looking for new content, but we can't always add content in large batches. Rest assured we're doing the best we can and we're proud to boast a song library of well over 17,000 backing tracks.

Yes....you have a great song library.......Yes...everything is legal......but as far as your content in large batches,,,come on man.......I see the same songs over and over again by the same artists....you already have the "NEW" songs in your library and the licensing is already verified,,,I've sang the some of them,,,I'm sayin someone isn't doing a great job at getting them involved in the feature,,,that it in a nutshell!!!!!!
I love this sight,,it's where I spend my extra time. I've been here and "gold" for over 3 yrs...I watch the feature page every day,,,every day!!! I think sometimes the making sure of which "Label" you are using in the feature also gets in the way of the "NEW" songs making it to the feature!!
The songs are there,,,we just want to sing them for the feature!!
I am in no way downing this staff or what you do,,,just sayin,,,we the people who pay to be on here would like to see some of the new songs in the feature,,,you add new ones everyday,,I know,,I check!!

What is your Favorite TV Series?
We are looking at ways to improve the feature page. Unfortunately, it's not an easy process. Previously we had a user driven feature page system. We had tons of complaints that the content was being repeated.
Due to that feedback we developed an automated system for selecting the featured songs. We know the system isn't perfect and we are working on it. However, everyone's taste in music is different. It's difficult to cover all the bases. It is something we're trying to improve though.

I think the feature team was fun. It gave people a chance to make requests. This random computer thing just doesn't seem as personal. It took me a while to want to come here again after the feature team was replaced. It just felt like a big part of the personality of singsnap was robbed. I think folks liked making suggestions / designing a feature page.
Where did the song request page go to anyway? Wasn't there a message board where we could go to for the purpose of requesting new songs to be added to the library?

I agree with Misskiss... not to mention how frustrating it is when all the new songs are CHILDREN MIDI TRACKS.

I REALIZE EVERBODY LIKES DIFFERENT SONGS, BUT SERIOUSLY NOONE HAS EVER HEARD OF MOST OF THESE, IF THEY COST YOU JUST PUT ON A FEW POPULAR ONES AND FRGET THE GARBAGE.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...I'm not even going to be specific, but there are alot of people on here who want more Rock and Heavy Metal songs. The selection of Heavy Metal here is extremely limited and there is a huge community of rockers on SS that want more of a selection there. Even just rock bands like Aerosmith, Bon jovi, AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Grace Potter (yeah that's just for me-lol)...The 500+ latin songs you added was great for people who like Latin music, but with all due respect..what about us Rockers? THANKS A BUNCH!! :)

Most of the artists you mention are already here, but regionally license restricted. We in Canada don't have access to most of them either, but ARE lucky enough to have Bon Jovi :)

I would like an answer on something related to this. I have posted many requests for songs to be added to the library and according to singsnap staff if a song is available then it will be added to the Library if someone requests it. Well I have checked every Friday since making my requests and the songs have never been added. My question is this, If the song isn't available can you not Pm the requester and let them know? I have requested popular Elvis and Johnny Cash Songs and they have never been added so can't see why they aren't available or why no one ever get's back to the requester to let them know if a song isn't available?

I am a little upset that when I joined this site a couple years ago, on Fridays, there was 2-3 pages of new songs being put out and now I anxiously wait for every Friday for new songs and only see not even ONE full page posted and most are songs I either don't know or are duplicates. It is very frustrating!!!!!!! Twelve dollars a month and you can't pay for new songs to be added????
